Earl B. Powell:

It's great to see that you still help hold this place together. I sincerely hope you are doing well; I've always appreciated your insight and have re-read many of your posts several times over the past three years [eg., the "Eyes of the World" post].

I hope Life is treating you well ...or, at least as well as can be expected,

Hey Ashes! All is well on the Eastern Front. Traveling this week in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Staying near the banks of the Appomattox River this evening, and will listen to the Night They Drove Old Dixie Down as an honor to the place. (Much the same as Will Tell's envisioning of Jack Straw, "Dixie" is the embodiment of the telling of the story in the East.)

Honest to God, the world, especially the economy has thrown my family in the ditch over the past few months, and I suddenly saw how at peace my wife has been with her faith. I've decided to cast away the worry, I will land on my feet, and survive.

Hoping the wind is at your back....

Earl B. Powell: ...no need to reply to this post.

Nice to hear that you are on vacation. We've had some good weather in Boston over the past few days so hopefully the same is true for your travels.

I regret to hear how the economy has affected you and the family, but at least it is some consolation that you found some solace in your wife's faith. ...I have found it to be similar to physical exercise, it takes a lot of practice ....but it's worth it.

Hope to see you on the "Sea of Tranquility" for the 40th anniversary bash on the 19th! --- pauld.

Did you hear that Micheal Jackson was planning to put out a new album?

It was to be called "Micheal Jackson In A Minor"...

How do you know when it's time to go to bed at the Neverland Ranch?
